Scott Greaves

Student Intern, MACP Candidate Registered Psychotherapist Qualifying

Scott is a relational therapist who helps couples, individuals, and families address communication breakdowns, recurring conflict, infidelity, and major life transitions. You may feel stuck in repetitive arguments, disconnected from your partner, or unsure how to rebuild broken trust. Perhaps you’re preparing for marriage, working through separation, or noticing that anxiety, depression, or stress affects your relationships. Scott offers a supportive and judgment-free space for clients to speak openly, understand their relational patterns, and make real progress. Through therapy, you can strengthen communication, rebuild trust, and develop healthier relationship dynamics, moving toward a lasting connection.

Scott’s clinical approach is based in the Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and attachment-based principles, to identify and begin to break the negative interaction cycles that fuel conflict. He also draws from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness, and solution-focused strategies. With couples, Scott improves communication, de-escalates conflict, and rebuilds emotional safety. With individuals, he addresses anxiety, depression, anger, trauma, grief, parenting stress, caregiver burnout, and self-esteem. Scott uses an integrative approach to ensure clients receive a treatment plan tailored to their needs and to help them begin cultivating practical tools for daily life.

Scott’s goal is to help you build stronger communication, greater understanding, and lasting change in your relationships. Many couples seek therapy not because their relationship is failing, but because they want to strengthen their foundation and prevent the same conflicts from repeating. Whether you are navigating infidelity, family conflict, a major life transition, or simply want conversations that feel easier and connections that feel more secure, Scott works collaboratively with you to develop the skills and insight to get there. Together, you will build the tools for a relationship and a life that feel more grounded, connected, and clear.
