Ryleigh Patersona
Ryleigh works with teens, adults, and couples experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. She also supports clients navigating eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), borderline personality disorder (BPD), attachment concerns, self-esteem challenges, identity exploration, and the lasting impact of difficult life experiences. Ryleigh recognizes that our relationships, family experiences, culture, and environment all shape how we understand ourselves and relate to others. She strives to create a supportive, collaborative space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to work toward meaningful change.
Ryleigh takes an integrative approach to psychotherapy, tailoring treatment to each client’s unique needs and goals. She draws from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD, attachment-based therapy, psychodynamic therapy, somatic approaches, and strength-based interventions. She also incorporates a feminist perspective in order to conceptualize how relationships, social systems, and lived experiences can influence mental health and emotional well-being.
Whether you’re working through anxiety, healing from trauma, coping with grief, navigating a major life transition, strengthening your relationships, or developing a healthier sense of self, Ryleigh works alongside you to identify patterns and deepen your understanding of yourself. Her goal is to help clients feel more confident and equipped to manage life’s challenges while creating lasting, meaningful change.
