Virtual Therapy In Ontario, In Person Therapy in Hamilton, Oakville & London

Alysha Bond

Alysha works with teens, adults, and couples experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, OCD, eating disorders, self-esteem challenges, borderline personality disorder (BPD), family conflict, grief, relationship concerns, and major life transitions, including divorce, infidelity, and career uncertainty. She also has a strong interest in supporting clients exploring questions of identity, belonging, and relationships. Alysha believes that therapy works best when you feel comfortable enough to show up as yourself, without worrying about saying the “right” thing. She takes a warm, collaborative approach, meeting you where you are while adapting therapy to your individual experiences, strengths, and goals.

Through her work at CMHA Thames Valley Addiction and Mental Health Services and the Eating Disorder Residence, Alysha has developed a strong understanding of the complexities of mental health, recovery, and the unique experiences that shape each person’s healing journey. Alysha recognizes that emotional struggles usually develop for understandable reasons, shaped by your experiences, relationships, and the patterns you’ve built to cope over time. She works with you to reduce what’s weighing on you now while also understanding what’s underneath it, helping you build greater awareness, self-compassion, and confidence in yourself.

Her approach to psychotherapy integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), the Gottman Method, attachment-based therapy, and trauma-informed care. Whether you’re attending therapy as an individual or as a couple, Alysha works collaboratively with you to build practical coping strategies, strengthen communication, improve relationships, and develop skills that support lasting change. Her goal is to help you leave therapy feeling better equipped to navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence, clarity, and self-understanding.
