Bianca Amendola
Student Intern, MACP Candidate
Registered Psychotherapist Qualifying
Bianca is a compassionate and collaborative therapist who supports teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, OCD, phobias, stress, and life transitions. She understands how exhausting it can feel to live with constant overthinking, intrusive thoughts, or a persistent sense of being stuck. To support you, she creates a grounded, safe space where you can begin to work through it. Bianca also focuses on women’s mental health, including the emotional impact of hormonal shifts, PMS, postpartum mood changes, perimenopause, and menopause. Whether you are struggling with self-doubt, feeling emotionally drained, or trying to find your footing during a major life change, Bianca meets you where you are with warmth and genuine care.
Her clinical approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) with a strong focus on Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), panic disorder, social anxiety, and phobias. She also integrates principles from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Solution-Focused Therapy to keep sessions practical, goal-oriented, and focused on meaningful progress. Through this work, Bianca helps you identify the thought patterns and behaviours that may be keeping you stuck, strengthen your coping strategies, and build more intentional ways of responding to difficult thoughts and emotions.
Bianca’s goal is to help you feel more grounded, capable, and confident in navigating life’s challenges. Whether that means quieting the mental noise of OCD or intrusive thoughts, easing the weight of anxiety or depression, managing the emotional toll of hormonal changes, or finding clarity and direction during a life transition, she works collaboratively with you every step of the way. You don’t have to keep pushing through on your own. Together, you will build practical tools, increase self-awareness, and develop healthier patterns that support meaningful, lasting change.
