Andreea is a warm and thoughtful therapist who specializes in helping children and teens navigate anxiety, ADHD, OCD, emotional regulation challenges, and behavioural difficulties. With extensive experience working with young people, she understands the developmental and emotional struggles children face at school, at home, and during periods of change. Many parents come to Andreea feeling anxious and uncertain of the next step, watching their child struggle with worry, emotional outbursts, difficulty focusing, low confidence, or patterns of reassurance-seeking that are becoming harder to manage. She creates a calm, structured, and encouraging therapy environment where young clients feel free to express themselves and where parents feel supported, understood, and guided through the process.
Her approach is integrative and developmentally informed, grounded in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and play-based strategies, mindfulness skills, and family systems support. Andreea tailors each session to the child or teen’s developmental stage, personality, and strengths, and focuses on practical coping tools for everyday life. In therapy, she works with young clients to build emotional regulation skills, strengthen coping strategies for anxiety and stress, improve focus and executive functioning, and reduce OCD-related patterns such as intrusive thoughts or reassurance cycles. Sessions are meant to feel interactive and encouraging while helping children and teens develop confidence, resilience, and a stronger understanding of their emotions.
Andreea also works closely with parents, recognizing that supporting a child’s emotional well-being regularly involves helping caregivers feel more confident and equipped as well. In addition to individual therapy, she also offers family and couples therapy to help improve communication, strengthen relationships, and support families in navigating challenges together. She provides practical guidance to help parents understand what their child is experiencing and how to respond in ways that support emotional regulation, communication, and healthy development. Her work is collaborative, person-centred, and paced carefully to meet each client and family where they are.
Andreea’s goal is to help children and teens feel calmer, more capable, and better equipped to handle difficult moments with greater clarity and resilience. Whether a young person is struggling with anxious thinking, OCD patterns, ADHD-related challenges, emotional outbursts, or low confidence, she works alongside families to build the skills and understanding that support real, lasting change. A home life with less tension, calmer routines, and stronger connection is possible, and families do not have to face these challenges alone.
