Mary is an expert in anxiety related disorders, specifically health anxiety, OCD, phobias and PTSD. She uses an integrative and science based approach that targets maladaptive thinking patterns, unwanted urges or compulsions, and nervous system regulation. Mary will help you create new neural pathways by reconstructing your thinking patterns, engaging you in more adaptive behaviors, and teaching you effective skills and tools to cope with your internal struggles. Learn how to self regulate to reduce your distress, improve your cortisol levels, stabilize your mood, and enhance your overall functioning.
Mary’s approach creates resilience through experiential learning in session to empower you to overcome the burden of your challenges that impact your ability to live your life to the fullest. Mary’s specialty is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), specifically Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for treatment of obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), health anxiety, panic, phobias and PTSD related shock, that has resulted in cognitive changes and nervous system disorientation. Post traumatic stress can trigger unwanted and reflexive physiopsychological changes that produce persistent hypervigilance and a constant state of fight or flight. Through a combination of cognitive restructuring, exposure based therapy and somatic nervous system regulation, Mary can help you find some relief. Mary also helps you understand and overcome your reaction and feelings associated with these complex challenges and process the difficult emotions that leave you feeling defeated. For a comprehensive and tailored treatment, Mary may incorporate other evidence based practices such as Psychodynamic exploration, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Solution Focused Therapy to find the root cause of your distress, come to an acceptance, and help you find solutions that actually work for you.
Mary is now offering Psychotherapy Intensives for individuals seeking meaningful progress in a short timeframe. These intensives offer accelerated treatment for clients who are feeling stuck and don’t know where to start or want to make significant therapeutic gains without waiting months for relief.
Psychotherapy intensives allow for weeks or months of therapeutic work to occur in a single extended session. Mary uses a structured, evidence-based and integrative approach to enable deeper exploration, enhanced self awareness of unconscious processes, psychoeducation and skill-building.
Mary’s intensives integrate Psychodynamic Exploration, Somatic Nervous System Regulation, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and elements of Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). Intensives includes significant clinical preparation and screening, comprehensive and advanced therapeutic work, and post-session monitoring to support continued progress.

Psychotherapy intensives are intended for individuals who are emotionally stable and appropriate for extended therapeutic work. They are not suitable for individuals experiencing active psychosis, severe psychiatric instability, unmanaged substance dependence, or situations requiring a higher level of care. Suitability is determined through a pre-intensive screening process to ensure safety and clinical appropriateness.
Psychotherapy intensives are considered a form of psychotherapy and are covered by most insurance providers when delivered by a Registered Psychotherapist. Clients are responsible for confirming their own eligibility for coverage, coverage limits, and reimbursement requirements directly with their insurance provider in advance of booking. Please note that direct billing is not offered.
Because payment is collected in advance, a payment receipt will be issued at the time of booking and credited to your file. In accordance with College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) standards and applicable regulations, an insurance-eligible psychotherapy receipt cannot be issued until after the service has been rendered.
Following completion of the psychotherapy intensive, you will receive a psychotherapy receipt that includes the clinician’s credentials and details of the treatment provided. This receipt may then be submitted to your insurance provider for reimbursement.
