Kasandra Lauzon
Student Intern, MACP Candidate Registered Psychotherapist, Qualifying
Kasandra is a warm and compassionate therapist who supports children, teenagers, adults, and families in navigating addiction, sports performance, stress, and major life transitions. She offers a respectful, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, validated, and supported as they take courageous steps toward growth. Kasandra understands how difficult it can be to reach out for help, and she honours the strength and resilience clients bring into the therapy room. Kasandra’s therapeutic approach is rooted in the belief that healing happens when you feel safe and supported. She sees therapy as a collaborative journey, where you and your therapist work together with curiosity, compassion, and teamwork to better understand your experiences and the patterns that shape your life. Whether you are processing past challenges, adjusting to change, or reconnecting with your authentic self, Kasandra creates an environment where exploration feels grounded and empowering.
Kasandra takes an integrative, person-centred approach, drawing from Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Humanistic Therapy. She tailors each session to the individual, and helps clients understand their emotional experiences, build healthier coping strategies, and strengthen mind–body awareness to support meaningful and lasting change.
Kasandra helps clients who are working through addiction, stress, burnout, low motivation, identity changes, emotional overwhelm, and life transitions. She supports clients in developing insight into the “why” behind their thoughts and behaviours while empowering them with practical tools to navigate challenges with greater confidence and stability. Her sessions balance warmth, reflection, and skill-building. Kasandra aims for you to leave each session feeling seen, grounded, and equipped with strategies you can use beyond the therapy room. She values the trust clients place in her and is dedicated to creating a therapeutic relationship that fosters resilience and meaningful growth.
