Diana Ostap
Student Intern, MACP Candidate Registered Psychotherapist, Qualifying
Diana’s clinical philosophy centres on compassion and curiosity. She understands that every person’s story is layered and complex, and that therapy is not about “fixing” but about creating space for insight, acceptance, and meaningful change. Diana supports teens and adults experiencing mood disorders, personality disorders, neurodivergent experiences, anxiety, trauma-related stress, and identity-based challenges. She is especially passionate about helping individuals who have felt misunderstood, stigmatized, or disconnected in their families, relationships, communities, or within themselves. Diana also works with couples and families to improve communication, strengthen conflict resolution skills, and foster healthier, more connected relationships.
Diana’s approach is integrative and evidence-based, combining mindfulness-based practices, trauma-informed care, Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT). She collaborates with each client to tailor treatment to their goals, values, and natural pace. Whether exploring long-standing patterns, developing emotional awareness, or building practical coping tools, Diana creates an encouraging environment where you can feel empowered and understood.
Diana’s goal is to create a space where you leave the session feeling seen, understood, and supported. She believes real healing happens through genuine connection and mutual respect. She views the therapeutic relationship as a collaborative partnership where you remain the expert of your lived experience while providing you with guidance and encouragement to move forward and improve your well being.
